International Education and Resource Network – Bangladesh (iEARN-Bangladesh) is an organization representing iEARN in Bangladesh. The organization is dedicated towards better education, sustainable life and peace in Bangladesh. The organization works with Bangladeshi teachers and students to support collaborative learning partnering with other teachers and students from schools and colleges around the world. Local schools and colleges have the opportunity to collaborate with their partner schools in many different subject areas for sharing their unique experiences. iEARN-Bangladesh facilitates schools and teachers to act locally and think globally.

What is iEARN?

iEARN is a non-profit network that supports over 30,000 teachers and more than 2 million youth in 140 countries to collaborate through a global telecommunications network on projects designed to make a difference in the world. Since 1998, iEARN has pioneered online school linkages to enable students to engage in meaningful educational projects with peers around the world. iEARN is –

  • A safe and structured environment in which you can communicate with teachers and peers from around the world.
  • A community of teachers and learners.
  • An opportunity to apply knowledge in service-learning projects.
  • An inclusive and culturally diverse community.

After joining, teachers and students enter an active online forum environment to meet other participants and get involved in ongoing projects, initiated by their peers throughout the world. In addition to meeting a particular curriculum or subject area need, every project proposed in iEARN has to answer the question, ‘how will this project affect the quality of life on the planet?’ That vision and purpose are the glue that holds iEARN together. Through participation in iEARN projects, students develop the habit of working collaboratively.

ইন্টারন্যাশনাল এডুকেশন অ্যান্ড রিসোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক – বাংলাদেশ (iEARN-Bangladesh) একটি সংস্থা যা বাংলাদেশে iEARN- এর প্রতিনিধিত্ব করে। উন্নত শিক্ষা, টেকসই জীবন ও বাংলাদেশে শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য নিবেদিত এই সংগঠন। সংগঠনটি বাংলাদেশী শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে কাজ করে এবং বিশ্বের অন্যান্য স্কুল ও কলেজের শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে তাদের সহযোগিতামূলক শিক্ষা সমর্থন করে। স্থানীয় স্কুল এবং কলেজগুলির জন্য তাদের এলাকায় অংশীদার স্কুলগুলির সাথে সহযোগিতা করে নানারকম বিষয়ে অনন্য অভিজ্ঞতাগুলি ভাগ করে নেওয়ার সুযোগ রয়েছে। iEARN-Bangladesh বিভিন্ন স্কুল এবং শিক্ষকদের স্থানীয়ভাবে কাজ করার এবং বিশ্ব নিয়ে ভাবতে সহায়তা করে।

iEARN একটি অলাভজনক সংস্থা যা ১৪০টি দেশে ৩০,০০০ এরও বেশি শিক্ষক এবং ২০ লাখের বেশি যুবদের বিশ্বব্যাপী একটি পরিবর্তন তৈরির জন্য পরিকল্পিত প্রকল্পগুলিতে টেলিযোগাযোগ নেটওয়ার্কগুলির মাধ্যমে সহযোগিতা করে। ১৯৯৮ সাল থেকে iEARN অনলাইন স্কুলগুলোকে একত্র করেছে শিক্ষার্থীদের সারাবিশ্বের সহপাঠীদের সাথে অর্থপূর্ণ শিক্ষা প্রকল্পে অংশগ্রহণ করার জন্য। iEARN হল-

  • একটি নিরাপদ এবং কাঠামোগত পরিবেশ যেখানে সারা বিশ্ব থেকে শিক্ষক এবং সহপাঠীদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করা সম্ভব।
  • শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীদের একটি সম্প্রদায়।
  • সেবা শিক্ষার জ্ঞান প্রয়োগ করার একটি সুযোগ।
  • একটি অসাম্প্রদায়িক এবং সাংস্কৃতিকভাবে বৈচিত্র্যময় সংগঠন।

এখানে যুক্ত হওয়ার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষকমণ্ডলী এবং ছাত্রবৃন্দ একটি অনলাইন ফোরামভিত্তিক পরিবেশের সংস্পর্শে এসে অন্যান্য অংশগ্রহণকারীদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করতে এবং তাঁদের তৈরি করা বিভিন্ন চলমান প্রকল্পে যোগ দিতে পারেন। একটি নির্দিষ্ট শিক্ষাক্রম অথবা বিষয়ক্ষেত্রের দাবি মেটানোর পাশাপাশি, iEARN এ প্রস্তাবিত প্রতিটি প্রকল্পকেই একটি প্রশ্নের সমাধান মেটাতে হয়, সেটি হলো: “এই প্রকল্পটি কীভাবে পৃথিবীবাসীর জীবনমানকে প্রভাবিত করবে?” উপরোক্ত দর্শন এবং উদ্দেশ্যই হলো iEARN কে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করে রাখা বিনি সূতোর মালা। iEARN কর্তৃক চালিত প্রকল্পগুলিতে অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা সমন্বিতভাবে সহযোগিতার মাধ্যমে কাজ করার অভ্যাস অর্জন করে।

Over 2,000,000 students each day are engaged in collaborative project work worldwide.

Transformative Education Society
Transformative Education Society (TES) is a non-profit, non-government organization in Dhaka. Transformative Education Society (TES) was established on October 2, 2018, to develop global partnerships in education. TES has been working closely with students and teachers since its inception to develop and instill leadership qualities among the youth. TES is currently hosting iEARN-Bangladesh, an approved member of iEARN International. iEARN-Bangladesh currently administers the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program in Bangladesh in close cooperation with the U.S. Embassy Dhaka and the Asia Kakehashi Program in close collaboration with AFS India.
